ABOUT

Conor is a self-taught Irish artist based in Kilkenny, in the southeast of Ireland. Prior to embarking on his career as an artist, Conor was a highly accomplished international swimmer and enjoyed a very successful career in the corporate world. However, his passion for art led him to leave behind the corporate world and fully commit and dedicate himself to his craft and explore his creative side. He has exhibited his pieces in galleries in Ireland and Switzerland.

INSPIRATION

Through his professional and sporting careers Conor has been fortunate enough to travel across the globe and experience a plethora of locations both obscure and  popular destinations, from America to Siberia. This inspiration is woven into his distinctive abstract style, which results in striking, visually compelling imagery.

Conor's artwork is recognisable from the way he builds layer upon layer of paint which result in rich, three dimensional surfaces. With the use of mixed media and varied techniques, vivid colours are added to bring his compositions to life giving his pieces an intensely energetic quality.

Each piece is a dynamic fusion of colour, texture and expression portraying his artistic vision, creative passion, and the profound influence of his life's journey.
